01

Challenge

A growing colocation facility needed to guarantee concurrent maintainability — the ability to service any power component without dropping a single server rack.

02

Approach

We designed a dual-path A/B power architecture from utility intake to rack PDU, with independent UPS strings, redundant distribution, and a monitoring layer instrumenting every breaker and busbar.

03

Engineering Solution

The facility now runs true 2N power to every critical rack, with clean earthing and bonding throughout, real-time power monitoring, and documented failover procedures verified by live pull-the-plug testing.

Technical Scope

  • UPS systems
  • Power distribution
  • Monitoring
  • Grounding
  • Redundancy design

Results

R1

2N redundancy verified by live failover tests

R2

100% uptime since commissioning

R3

Per-rack power monitoring and capacity trending

R4

Concurrent maintainability achieved
