Challenge
A growing manufacturer had outgrown a distribution system installed two decades earlier. Breakers tripped under peak load, there was no protection discrimination, and a single fault could take down the entire plant.
02
Approach
We began with a full load study and thermographic survey, then designed a new low-voltage distribution architecture with correctly graded protection, dedicated feeders for critical lines, and headroom for the next phase of expansion.
03
Engineering Solution
New main switchboard and sub-distribution boards were fabricated, factory-tested, and installed in a phased changeover across three weekends — production never stopped. Every circuit was injection-tested and the full installation certified.
Technical Scope
- Switchgear installation
- Power distribution
- Testing
- Commissioning
Results
Zero unplanned electrical downtime since commissioning
40% capacity headroom for plant expansion
Full protection discrimination verified by injection testing
Complete as-built documentation and test records delivered
